Introducing Lindsay Campbell!
Hey there, I’m Lindsay! I have always loved capturing images (even since I was very small), but once I learned that I could combine my love of images with my love of people and relationships, I got hooked on wedding photography.
I’m originally from New Jersey, went to college in Central Pennsylvania, and I now photograph weddings in the Chattanooga and Nashville areas. My awesome husband Tyler is my second shooter, sounding board, and fellow business dreamer/branding aficionado.
My goal as a wedding photographer is to organically document a couple’s wedding day in a way that is honest, and in a way that builds up their future marriage. I love capturing the huge range of emotions that couples and their families feel on their wedding day.
The first look… The expression on Dad’s face as he walks his daughter down the aisle… Mom’s wide eyes as she zips up her daughter’s dress… The excitement of the bridesmaids when they see their friend at her most beautiful… The laughter of nervous groomsmen just before the ceremony begins… The tears of the new Mr. and Mrs… Those small moments and memories that are wrapped in such strong emotions are a privilege to witness, and they are certainly the ones my husband and I treasure the most when we look back at our wedding day. I strive to serve my couples by capturing those in-between moments.
I’ve cried at every wedding I’ve shot, and it’s always at a different moment during the day… I love being surprised by each couple in that way! It’s such an honor to be a part of those memories. I’m definitely not the “show up on the wedding day and take pictures” type of photographer… I get close to my couples, and I get to know them well so I can serve them and make them (and their families) feel as comfortable and careless as possible on their wedding day. This job is a true joy for me.
Some random/fun things about me:
I love coffee, Chipotle, the ocean, the mountains, bonfires, ice-cream, snow, running, Thai food, and all things Harry Potter. Also, my husband and I have two pet chinchillas, and I think they’re the coolest little guys in the whole world.
These photos are from Emily + Josh’s Springtime Mountain Wedding in Tennessee! This lovely couple was married at a private home near Fall Creek Falls State Park in front of 5 of their family members and close friends. After their ceremony, they packed a picnic lunch and went on a hike!
